Internship Record # 2 - Preparation of Teaching Resources - Format for Recording Teaching Resources

When writing the record, resources used in teaching–learning may be listed under the following heads.

List of Resources

1.      Pictures

2.      Charts

3.      Flash Cards

4.      Worksheets

5.      ICT

Each type of resource should be presented in a separate table.

For Still Models and Working Models, write in paragraph form including Procedure, Working (for working models), and Pedagogic Utility.

1. Still Model of a Ship

Procedure:

  • Mention materials used.
  • Describe steps of preparation (cutting, assembling, colouring, fixing).
  • Indicate the time/effort taken.

Pedagogic Utility:

  • How it supports the lesson (concept clarity, vocabulary, comprehension, etc.).
  • How it motivates students (interest, curiosity).
  • Its role in classroom interaction (discussion, observation, writing tasks).

Procedure:

  • Mention safety precautions (if any).

Working:

  • Explain how the model functions when operated.

  • Note if it needs battery, motor, or manual operation.
